nice day

took the day off from being a wife/mother. went out with a girlfriend for brunch and shopping. got my hair cut. looked for a dress to wear to 2 weddings (one is next week!) and didn't find shit out there. used a gift certificate for a really cute t-shirt that i wouldn't have normally spent $85 for, but since i had the gift card, it was just the right purchase. tried to use another 2 gift certificates at another store and was uninspired. in all it was a nice day.

jason has a headache, he actually woke up with it and still has it. he's upstairs laying down.

my neighbors are still fighting the flood. it totally sucks for them, it could have been us. and i had this whole thing i was gonna say about renaming him noah and bringing over a pair of animals, but somehow i've rethought that and it's really not even fun to joke about. it just sucks that they just moved in and now this is happening.

oh by the way, my house still hasn't sold. no one even comes to look at it. is it even on the market?
